Once again the gorgeous and talented Evangeline Miles has been stuffing our closets with her amazing work. Elysian is definitely Faeish, but has an almost Emo ring to it. It can suit just about any taste and can be worn in a number of ways.
For one, this cute little top layer of the skirt can be worn without the green layer. I elected to keep the underskirt and hide my legs (for now). There are adorable ankle ribbons that match the iridescent top and arm ribbons. Primmed bows and the exquisite flower wreath complete the look.
Elysian is also available in violet and in blue at Evie’s main store.

This gown set is one of the most opulent and one of the most colorful series from Kouse Singh of Kouse’s Sanctum. Pictured is the ‘Justice’ (black) edition, though this image only shows a few ways this can be worn. With a total of 13 pieces per set it’s a mix-and-matchers dream.
Anastasia is interesting in a few ways. To me, I think the cute little headpiece gives it that Russian princess charm, and the textures are richly detailed, their stunning colors may be a bit too daring for some (there are a total of 11 shades). There are three different skirts with this one, a slim fitting skirt, an evening gown skirt, and a full ball gown skirt.I find the evening gown skirt and ball gown skirt are excellent for dancing in, the prims seem to flow just perfectly.
The belts in these sets is the same build as the limited edition Crystal II - Valentine Rose gown, it’s a gorgeous belt, however it is an accessory that accents the aspect of antiquity, so in the case of wearing this to an event that is set in the current time, you may wish to wear the gown without the belt. This set also includes Gor options, as well (veil and undershirt) for those RPers. Yes, this is an old fashioned gown, but it’s got a flair that can be appealing to any time, be it a modern ball or a Medieval role play. I find that if you think the long, flowing prim sleeves are a bit much, the gown wears just fine without them.
Take a look at Kouse’s own blog for more images.

Once again Avilion Mist delivers it’s special brand of class and Medieval romance to the Grid. The Mystic gown sets by Serenity Sieyes are one of the newest releases from Avilion Mist. These sets were first released in red, then later on in several more colors, making for a total of 15 available sets. There are three different versions of each set that can be chosen from, one with the pretty draped flexi sleeves pictured, one with an almost Victorian collar as well as lovely sculpted upper sleeves, and a third set which combines both of the first set and includes additional pieces that aren’t in the other sets. As usual, these come with a delightful matching cape, scripted for easy resizing and more.
All the colors of the Mystic sets are gorgeous deep tones with blacks, elegant combinations that are just stunning in appearance. Included headpieces (one with and one without veil) finish off a luxurious ensemble for those who are fond of that extra spice.
Along with the Mystic gowns was released the Mystic jewelry collection, another set of treasures that every woman should have in her jewelry box. I’ll elaborate on these sets in a future post.

Sparkle Skye has created over time a number of gowns and silks, as well as hair and more, that seem to blend known and familiar concepts with little original twists. A good example of this is the Queen Kathrine gown series.
The textures on these gowns are good, the colors bright and fetching. The little tiara and neck ruff are included, as are a cape version of the neck ruff and an assortment of other pieces. The set is sold as no modify, no transfer, meaning I could not change the skirt the way I would have liked. As you can see, it doesn’t fit my av all that well, and moving it on my av would have only made the situation worse. I would have liked to move the prims individually to sit around the waist better.
The tiara is scripted so that one can access a drop down menu by clicking and select from a multitude of colors for the lacy bits, metal, and more. Overall, I would recommend this set for those who don’t mind spending a lot of lindens, as with a lot of things from Allure, it’s more pricey than market average.

Last night miss Kouse Singh gave her February freebie to the members of the Kouse’s Sanctum update group. The gown pictured above is it, Lady Serenity, recoloured to a vibrant, stunning shade of red. Just perfect for Valentine’s or that romantic night any time of year, this is special version of a popular classic. It’s rumored that ‘Lady Serenity’ is to be released in Kouse’s Sanctum with even more vivid hues like this in the future. So if the muted tones of the previous release didn’t strike your fashion fancy, keep your eyes peeled.
The original release of the Lady Serenity gowns had them as no copy/no mod/ yes trans.
This has changed. While you can still buy them with that permission set on SLX, at the main store in Garindan, the perms are now yes copy/yes mod/no trans, as is just about everything else. This is also the case for the February group freebie, ‘Rose Red’, it’s copy/mod/no trans. The prims have had light adjustment from the previous release, as well, making them have a better fit for smaller AVs, and thanks to the perm set, you can tinker to your hearts desire, and tint, as well.

Over time Malakh Giles has created some of the most breathtaking and exquisite jewelry ever to grace avatars within Second life. His craftmanship is to be admired, with it’s careful precision and sumptuous textures, jewelry by him, available at the Avilion Mist store, is worth every Linden.

Pictured above is the Majestic set in gold and sapphire. Click on the images to zoom in, though in order to be fully appreciated they must be seen in-world. An absolutely gorgeous set available in 10 total versions, the pieces can also be bought separately (necklace, earrings, and tiara).

Here’s the Majestic tiara in Silver and Diamond. The necklace and earrings are the Sojourner collection, a more recent release. The Sojourner earrings and necklace, with their intricate twirling delicacy and beauty, are sold separately (earrings, and necklace). They’re available in a gold and a silver version, both being scripted so you can easily with a click get a pop-up menu to choose between 8 different gemstones.

Above is the Twilight Collection circlet, and the Inspiration necklace, both in Silver. The Inspiration collection is the newest jewelry release from Avilion Mist, showcasing yet again incredible, flawless detail and precision. Also available are earrings from the Twilight collection, and rings from the Inspiration collection. As is now custom with Avilion Mist jewelry, these are available in a silver and a gold version, and both are scripted for gem change, and you can toggle brightness on and off. Again, to be fully appreciated, they must all be seen in world.
!Update!
The Inspiration Collection now also features earrings. Check out these little beauties pictured below:

They are scripted for gem change and bright on/off like the rest of the set.
If you’re looking for that spectacular piece of jewelry to finish your ensemble and to make you feel like a princess, Avilion Mist jewelry has everything you need to step into a wonderful fairytale.

Avilion Mist has made some new releases, and of course as always they are delivering some of the best creations in SL. With sumptuous new jewelry by Malakh Giles (to be featured in another post) to this exquisite gown by the absolutely gifted Serenity Sieyes, my heart went pitter patter upon wearing. Delicious!
‘The Rose’ comes with 17 peices total and can be worn in a nearly endless number of ways. As with almost all Avilion Mist gowns, this one considers the Gor inclined, including modest options and veil (speaking of which the veil is just fabulous!).
The set is sold as copy/mod/no trans, though like all Avilion Mist items, it seems to fit most AVs like a dream on first wear. The included scripted cape may need -slight- resizing, but that’s a snap with the wonderful scripts, just click and resize in small increments until satisfied.
One of the options to be noted with this set (and part of why there are so many peices) is that you can choose whether to have red or black flex sleeves, red or black head peice, etc. In the picture I elected to wear the black headpeice. I think it looks so gorgeous that way, especially with the lovely black section on the front of the skirt. But as always that’s my own opinion. How you wear this set is completely up to you!
Romantic Medieval styling you can wear anywhere, ‘The Rose’ from Avilion Mist is it!

Celestial Empress from Kouse’s Sanctum left me nothing short of stunned upon wearing it. The textures are just fabulous, with their rich detail and velvety feel. They mark another step in the progression that is Kouse Singh’s texture making talents. She made this set available in six exquisite colors, white among them, and even made a special wedding gown edition of this set.
Second stun factor:

This delicious set is free from February 8th until the 15th, Kouse said in her update group (Kouse’s Sanctum) at her main store at Garindan.
The set includes an interesting (and very adorable) pink version of the ever popular Crown of the Dreamer, with diamonds. Also included are a Free Woman undershirt and veil for the Gor inclined (or the very modest). The set is copy/mod/no trans. I highly recommend picking this little treasure up!

Rebel Hope’s Isabella series is something very truly intriguing. The textures are well done, impressively well done.
The prims as well were constructed with care and attention to
detail, though the skirt is open at the front, which may be
wonderful to some people, but to me it is not. I prefer skirts
that are closed, but that’s just a personal prefrence.
It’s available in several colors, so just about anyone’s color desire
can be met. Peices include a bodies, a bodice with short sleeves, a
cape/wrap, veil, prim sleeves, skirt, undershirt, gloves and glitchpants.
It’s versitile and can be worn as a Gorean Free Woman ensemble
thanks to the undershirt and veil.
